For some people creating a collage is childish. I understand that. However, it has always had a place in a vision quest and is a very important step in your 30 day challenge so I’d recommend you “love to” do one. Tonight.
Here’s how… today grab or buy 5-10 magazines of diverse focus. Sport, family, business, art, holidays whatever. Then, tonight or now, go through them with scissors or teeth ripping out images of things that remind you of things you’d love to BE or DO or HAVE… You’ll need about 5 images in each category for each of the seven areas of life. That’s 35 rips and tears. Make sure you have a good spread of BE and DO and HAVE in each area of life.
During your day, find a flat surface, cardboard or wood from the shed and a bunch of blue tack or tape or saliva that will allow you to stick at least 35 images on it … I’d say 60 CM by 30 cm or bigger. Make sure it’s easy to stick paper on paper and paper to the surface.
Tonight, grab the pictures – your BE, DO and HAVE’s. Past them to the surface. Overlap them, arrange them neatly, scramble them or put them in a grid. Either way, you’ll end up with an image of things you’d love to BE, DO and HAVE in all seven areas of life.
Now comes the rub. Get your phone and make a video of what each image means to you. You don’t have to feature in the video just talk me through it, what the image means to you and maybe why. Then, via drop box share it.
If you hang this up where you see it every time you walk anywhere in your home, it will come true..
